See 3-Day Holiday Baking Camp- Junior Chef (5 and above)
- The Junior Chef Baking Camp does not required participant to have prior baking experience, as each participant will be guided step-by-step by our friendly and dedicated pastry chefs. With clear instructions and hands-on assistance, every junior chef will feel confident and supported throughout the camp, creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere for all skill levels. By the end, participants will take great pride in their masterpieces, showcasing the skills they’ve learnt and the stunning, handcrafted treats they’ve created.
1. Delightful Starry Cookies: - Mixing and shaping cookie dough
- Cutting cookies with themed cutters
- Icing techniques
- Decorating cookies with edible glitter and stars
- Using color to create festive and creative designs
2. Merry Miffy Chocolate Tarts: - Making a pastry crust from scratch (rolling and lining tart shells)
- Preparing chocolate ganache filling
- Shaping of Miffy and Mistletoes using Fondant
- Decorating with themed designs (Miffy character details)
3. Santa Kitty Cake: - Cake baking techniques (mixing, folding, and baking a cake)
- Layering and assembling a cake
- Decorating with fondant (shaping and sculpting Santa Kitty design)
- Piping techniques for detail work
- Coloring and texturing fondant for a professional finish
- Your Child Will Receive:
- Things to bring for the camp:
– Water bottle
– Jacket (optional)
– Snacks (The aroma of the treats baking in the oven often makes the children hungry : ) - 1:5 – Educator to Child Ratio
Holiday camp fees that are paid, are non-refundable. - RAY requires a minimum of 5 children for this camp to be confirmed. In the event of low sign-ups, we will notify the parents 7 working days prior to the class, in which case the course fee that was paid will be refunded in full.
- In the event if RAY has to cancel all or part of a camp due to certain situations (eg: Covid lockdown), a credit note with
validity of 12 months, beginning from the commencement date of the class will be issued.
